A first step you can take now
Start with what your brand needs to do.
A useful brand makes your business recognizable and helps people understand what to expect. Start with the people you serve, the value you offer and the impression you want to leave.
This is a written preview. The full course includes the brand starter questionnaire, editable branding template and guided lessons.
Three decisions come first.
- Your customer: Who needs what you offer?
- Your difference: What can you honestly promise them?
- Your character: What three words should the brand bring to mind?
Then choose a direction.
The questionnaire gives you visual examples. Choose the style you like, or describe a blend. Choose the logo format separately: a wordmark, a symbol with your name, or a lettermark.
The assistant uses your answers to recommend a brief. Read that brief before approving any logo work. Correcting the direction here saves repeated revisions later.
Try this with your business
Write one sentence: “We help [customer] achieve [result] through [what we offer].” Keep it factual. You can refine the wording later.
